Terms & Conditions 
Marl Pits Garden Centre is committed to supplying high quality products to domestic gardeners and households for personal use. Our products and plants are not for resale.  
These terms and conditions apply to all orders for delivery to the UK.
1. Price and payment
  • We accept Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards.
  • Your account will be debited on receipt of your order, even if delivery is at a later date. If your card issuer or bank refuses to authorise payment to us, we will contact you for further instructions. We will not be liable for any resulting delay or non-delivery. Refunds are only payable to the purchaser of the goods.
  • Your payment is securely processed and your financial information is encrypted and can only be seen by you.
  • All goods remain the property of Marl Pits Garden Centre until paid in full.

2. Delivery

  • Please ensure all address details are correct at point of order, this is the address we will use for delivery.
  • Delivery charges are added automatically to the shopping basket.
  • We are not responsible for any delay beyond our control.
  • We will ship your plants to you at the best time for planting. Please ensure you plant them promptly after arrival, to ensure successful growth.
  • Upon receipt please open the packaging immediately and read the growing guide enclosed.
  • Your order may contain live plants and it is not uncommon during transit for the plants to become limp or have some discolouration on the foliage. This is due to the plants being in the dark for a short period of time. The plants will return to their normal colour in a few days and if the plant is limp, stand them in some water and they will revive.
  • We will dispatch healthy plants with full and clear growing guidelines, we do understand that on occasion there maybe issues despite both our best efforts. We cannot accept responsibility or refund/replace items that fail to grow due to extreme weather conditions, over or under-watering, or which have not been cared for according to our growing guidelines.

3. Orders / Availability

  • All items are subject to availability.
  • All information, descriptions and illustrations are approximate and for guidance only.
  • We are not responsible for any discrepancies in accuracy of the colour of the images shown.
  • If certain varieties are not available we do reserve the right to send a similar replacement of equal quality and value, unless instructed otherwise. If this happens we will contact you before sending out the order.
4. Returns and Refunds
  • All products will be dispatched in prime condition, any discrepancies need to be notified immediately upon receiving your order. Please advise by email or writing within 7 days of receipt.
  • Returned goods are at your cost within 5 days.
  • Our liability is limited to the purchase price at all times.
  • Any refunds or replacements will be made within 10 days of the goods being received by us.
  • Neglect, poor planting conditions, adverse weather and damage by nature could lead to the plant failing. Bulbs and plant material will be replaced at our discretion.
5. Privacy
  • We do not keep any financial records.
  • All the data you supply will be managed in accordance with the Data Protection legislation.
  • At no time will we share your information with third parties.
6. Copyright
  • The materials and services on this site are protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property laws. Any unauthorised use of the material or services on this site may violate such laws.
  • The trademarks, logos and service marks displayed on this site are the property of Marl Pits Garden Centre.
